The pages under this chapter heading carry descriptions of dances,
which, though in styles represented on other pages, are from outside
the source collections presented on other pages. The first named page
is for my representations of some 'big' dances from movies - first
up the much admired Landler from The Sound of Music (down
the track I plan to add other dances such as the satirical ballroom
mazurka from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the beautiful (and
sometimes also satirical) waltz sequence from Disney's version of
the Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical Cinderella.
The
dance instructions that were on the other four pages in this chapter
have been temperarily removed. You can now find corrected
versions, with full historical notes and accompanying music, in
the beautiful
hard copy book and 4 CD set The Lost Dances
of Earthly Delights Volume 2. Although we hope to get around
to putting the up-dated versions back up on the web it may not be
for some time and we ope you will take the opportunity that now
presents to acquire the definte version of these dances now the
