As a devotee of period movies, we too have been bitten by the "movie costume bug". Should you wish to order a movie gown from us, here is a short list of our favourite gowns - if what you want is not listed here, then please just ask. Whilst we will try to replicate these gowns closely, our garments will, at the end of the day, be our interpretations - they will not be direct 100% copies. If you wish to use a different coloured fabric to what is shown please let us know. Prices below include the cost of fabric and trimmings. Shipping is charged separately depending on how quickly you need it delivered. We will only start making your dress once payment has been received and a contract has been signed. Prices shown include our choice of fabric, price will vary if you want different fabric or would like to supply your own.We make our dresses to breath and line the bodices with cotton or silk.Where possible we will bone the bodice so that you do not need to purchase a separate corset unless a corset is part of the featured costume.

You may also hire Aylwen to give a talk or demonstration to your group, to advise you on your next historic clothing project, to custom fit a garment for you, to help you develop a historical program for school children, to research correct clothing for your historic event, teach period dances to historical program participants or children, or to design costumes for plays or theatrical productions. The Red Dress

$1,000 AUD - does not include hand-beaded bodice design, feathers, mask or headpiece. Consists of a boned lightly beaded bodice, overskirt, underskirt, petticoat with frilled hem and bustle support. Back lacing. Fabric, trims and beads are supplied and are included in the total price.
