The pages under this chapter heading are a little more personal than the other pages on this site, but with our children so involved (one way or another) in our dance, music and costume endeavours, and with our home, studio and garden visible to people who visit for one of these purposes, we thought it might be fun to open some pages on which we could post miscellaneous news and photos from the home front. We've only just started these pages with some snippets and snaps to hand, but do come and meet The Parents, The Children or The Garden.

THE GARDEN COTTAGE OPENS THIS WEEKEND

This Saturday and Sunday 13-14 October 2007, "The Garden Cottage" opens as part of the Australian Open Garden Scheme. Some may recall John & Aylwen Garden opening their edible garden in Calwell back in 1996 - here now is your chance to see how their new garden is progressing in Yarralumla.
Not only is the cottage garden on display, but so too are costumed dancers from the Earthly Delights Historic Dance Academy, who will be appearing in regency costumes, as though from a Jane Austen movie! They will be putting on dance & musical displays at various times of day, and will also be serving devonshire teas on the back deck.
So come along to The Garden Cottage this weekend at 87 Schlich Street, Yarralumla between 10am - 4.30pm - and enjoy pleasant sights as yet unseen under the elms and oaks. Entry $5.
