VOLUNTEERING AT JAFA 2010
Thanks for your interest in volunteering for
the 2010 Jane Austen Festival of Australia.
Volunteers provide an invaluable resource, operating in a wide
variety of roles across the Festival. We are looking for people
with experience in stage management, event management, building
and construction, administration, retail, hospitality, marketing,
media and everything in between! We are
also looking for people with no particular skills at all, who
are just willing to get in there and give it a go.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
You are required to complete a minimum of three
shifts during the Festival or a combination of five shifts in
the lead up to, during and/or after the Festival (shift lengths
vary depending on your role) in exchange for a half-price pass
to Jane Austen Festival 2010. You may be provided
with some or all meals depending on your role. All you need to
bring is a great attitude and desire to assist - too easy!
Do you want to get right in to the spirit of things and donate
more of your time to the Festival you love? If you commit to
eight or more volunteer shifts, you will receive a Jane Austen
Festival t-shirt as an extra thank you from us.
The application form below will help us to determine where your
skills will be best applied. Our Volunteer Manager will assess
your application and offer you a role (or roles) based on the
answers you provide. If you are unhappy with any role you have
been offered, let our Volunteer Manager know and we will try
to find something more suitable for you.

volunteer work at JAFA by emailing us with
the subject heading "I want to volunteer for JAFA 2010" and
