Welcome to our historical garment section for all those people seeking
information on period accurate garments to suit their chosen era and social
status. At the moment we are taking orders for Regency garments - please
do visit us at Regency Reproductions to place an order.
The first section of our costuming section offers a brief historical overview of some of the main characteristics of clothing in different periods. The second section lets you know all about the garments we have custom sewn for weddings, dances, re-enacting etc in the past. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly either by email to discuss any particular need or matter. Would you like to join our historical dance troupe?
Whereas most other pages on this site have been presented by dancer, musician and historian John Garden, the sewing pages have been presented by seamstress, dancer and web designer Aylwen Garden.
